Our “Heights Rescue” training course is designed to assist employers and employees in understanding the requirements for rescuing at heights and how to initiate emergency procedures. Participants are introduced to different types of rescue kits used in rescue operations, correct set up and use of rescue equipment and systems. Australian Standards relating to working at height and height rescue. An understanding of hazard identification, SWMS and the hierarchy of controls will be achieved. Safety issues related to working at heights are covered, when fall protection/prevention is required. Rescue requirements, procedures, rescue plans, self-rescue attachments and anchorage is covered throughout the course. Throughout the course, students will develop, participate and apply skills in the correct set up and use of Rollgliss R550 system and Gotcha Kit through guided practical scenarios.

Heights Rescue Training

This course provides essential knowledge of hazards, legislation, and safety practices, allowing participants to develop skills in rescuing from heights and effectively using various equipment and techniques.

Our Heights Rescue course is designed to offer both employers and employees a comprehensive understanding of the best practices, techniques, for a safe rescue at elevated levels.

The curriculum covers an extensive array of safety issues pertinent to heights rescue. This includes, but is not limited to, hazard identification, risk assessment, and the implementation of control measures to mitigate risks.

By the end of this course, participants will have a well-rounded understanding of the complexities involved in rescuing someone at heights. They will be equipped with the knowledge and skills to not only protect themselves but also contribute to a safer work environment for all.
