You’re making a booking for Perform Tower Rescue on Day Date, Month Year.
Perform tower rescue course is designed to develop/refresh knowledge, skills and abilities in rescue from towers and structures.
Prerequisite unit:
HLTAID009 – Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation
Evidence of this will need to be provided prior to attendance. Alternatively, this training can be delivered by Haz-Ed.
This one-day course assumes prior knowledge of working at heights. Students are expected to have completed a Working Safely at Heights course or refresher, and must be able to provide evidence of prior training.
- Safe use and maintenance of equipment
- Establishing & maintaining safe anchor systems
- Establishing rescue systems
- Safe Approach Distances (SAD’s)
- Various rescue techniques
- Rope techniques
- Casualty care
