This course is designed for workers who access towers, elevated structures, and infrastructure where rescue capability forms part of workplace emergency procedures.
Participants will learn how to plan rescue operations, inspect and use rescue equipment, establish anchor systems, assess risks, and safely recover casualties from height.

Participants must have completed Working Safely at Heights training (or refresher training) within the previous two years and provide evidence of completion before attending.
This one-day course assumes participants have prior knowledge and experience working at heights.
HLTAID009 – Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
Participants must also hold a current CPR qualification and provide evidence prior to attendance. Alternatively, CPR training can be delivered by Haz-Ed.
Participants must have the physical capability to safely perform practical rescue activities and work at height during training exercises.
